At 7:19 (local time), Mexico City was struck by an earthquake of magnitude 8.2. The epicenter was located 350 km off the Pacific coast of Mexico, the Cocos plate.
The results will be very heavy, about 10,000 dead and 30,000 injured and extensive damage.
