This is the most famous shootouts in the history of the conquest of the American West (many films make reference).
Yet only three people died in the town of Tombstone, Arizona.
The clash took place between officers Wyatt Earp, Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp, Doc Holliday against Frank McLaury, Tom McLaury, Billy Claiborne, Ike Clanton, and Billy Clanton.
Ike Clanton and Billy Claiborne fled the battle unharmed. The McLaury brothers and Billy Clanton were killed; Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp, and Doc Holliday were, meanwhile, injured.
