To sow the paparazzi, the driver Henri Paul drove at excessive speed in Paris and could not avoid a pillar of the Alma Bridge. Despite rescue efforts, Princess of Wales died at the age of 36 years. The driver and her companion Dodi al Fayed were killed instantly. Only bodyguard Trevor Rees Jones pulled alive from the accident. Many theories consider it a murder and not an accident.
